How to get crypto-currency on Coinbase (and other platforms)

“It is a symbol of innovation and openness that reflects our belief in the power of the crypto currency ecosystem to positively impact society.”
“We’re committed to protecting your personal data, and to making sure we protect it in a way that keeps your information safe,” the new privacy statement continues.
“If you’re a user of Coinbase, we’ll let you know when we start receiving information that we believe is in your interest.”
Coinbase’s new privacy policies, which are available online and in the app, follow an internal audit conducted by the company last year.
Coinbase said the changes were made in order to “improve user privacy and security”.
The company said the audit “identified several weaknesses in the privacy practices of Coinbase” and “reiterated the importance of using privacy tools to ensure the security of personal information.”
The audit was released by Coinbase after the company was hit by a hack last year that resulted in the theft of personal data from customers.
The hack prompted the company to introduce a new user experience that required users to provide a password to access certain features.
Coinbase’s recent updates are the latest steps by the cryptocurrency industry to introduce changes to its privacy policies.
In April, it became the first cryptocurrency platform to allow users to upload and share their own wallets, although this was later removed.
The company also introduced a “wallet freeze” option that allowed users to freeze their wallet to prevent it from being linked to other users’ accounts.
Coinbase is not the only one to adopt new privacy rules.
Last year, the world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex introduced a new privacy code that allows users to block any third-party advertising, tracking and content from their accounts.
The change came after the site was hit with a breach of the company and was later patched.
“We are a decentralized marketplace, so we believe it is important to have robust, trustworthy privacy policies,” BitfineX said in a statement at the time.
The company has since implemented a new version for its website.
